The Center for Children and the Law, Criminal Law Association at the University of Houston Law Center, and the American Constitutional Society presented Dr. Joe Janes, Dr. Aaron Brown, and Professor Anthony Charles from the Hillary Clinton School of Law at Swansea University (Wales) at a seminar lunch where they shared exciting advancements being studied at Swansea.

In anticipation of their presentation at the annual meeting of the American Society of Criminology, our guest speakers discussed the intersection between children’s rights and juvenile justice, research in the field of “youth justice,” and how changes to juvenile justice in Wales have changed the landscape of juvenile treatment by incorporating children’s rights.
